AI-powered web app turning cooking videos into structured recipes.
If you’ve ever found a mouth-watering cooking video on TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube and wished you could instantly have the recipe, Reels2Recipes might be the tool you’ve been looking for.
Reels2Recipes is an AI-powered web app that automatically converts cooking video content into structured recipes. All you need to do is paste a URL from TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube, and the app uses machine learning technology to extract ingredients and cooking instructions. This makes it a fantastic tool for anyone looking to try out new recipes without having to manually write everything down from a video.
The app supports videos from YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, and it can organize recipes by category, which makes it easy to navigate and explore new dishes. You can even shop for ingredients directly on Amazon (UK/US marketplaces), adding items to your cart for quick and convenient checkout.
Another fun feature is the community-driven aspect of the app. Users can like or unlike recipes, and there’s a leaderboard showcasing the most popular recipes. Plus, the best part is that the app is completely free to use.

In addition to the review and description, something important to consider is that the website doesn't have a landing page or an initial description when you enter the page. This makes it a bit difficult to understand what to do or how it works at first. Perhaps a brief how-it-works tutorial could greatly improve the user experience. Another important thing to keep in mind is SEO. I see that the app is built in SPA, and this could make searches on search engines like Google very difficult. The app has potential, but one recommendation is to have the Browse recipes section appear first instead of New recipe, because users would be able to see what they expect if they use the app.
And if possible, create some kind of Thumbnail to see the recipes and results more intuitively.

Of course.
I invite you to fill out your profile and add your app to the app dictionary, so you can ask others for feedback and increase traffic to your website.

I couldn't find this app in the app directory. Do you happen to have it listed there? If not, perhaps you could consider creating a post about it to share with others. https://goconnect.dev/app-dictionary
