Why I built GoConnect instead of using Reddit or LinkedIn?

I've had the idea of ​​developing an application for independent developers based on the LeanCanvas model for a while, but for a long time I was looking for where I could connect with developers in my area who could really deliver what I wanted.

I didn't have much money, so I reached out to friends, but none of them had the stack I needed. I started to despair and tried a website called CoFoundersLab, but unfortunately, the site didn't offer any value since a large number of users are from India, and working remotely doesn't really appeal to me due to legal and security issues.

So I tried LinkedIn, but I couldn't find anything either, as many ignored my messages. I finally landed on Reddit, but it still didn't work. First, I wanted to find a contact, a connection, so I could start a call, grab a coffee, and see what happened.

Since this never happened, no matter how hard I tried, I decided to create my own platform to connect with developers in my area. This gave me the ability to connect more securely and even publish my apps, business articles, and programming.

To this day, the former Bizznessia, which is now GoConnect, has provided what many other developers like me were looking for: a secure and professional connection in my field and location.

It may sound strange that such a new app is so great and completely free, but it all started as a simple project, and I plan to leave all its features as is.
