In my years of teaching and advising aspiring entrepreneurs, I’ve come to a fundamental conclusion, the most critical skill for success is not having all the answers, but rather developing a robust filter for the information you consume. We are inundated with advice, with self-proclaimed gurus promising financial freedom with minimal effort.
The challenge lies in knowing where to look, and more importantly, what to believe.

In a crowded market, being good isn’t good enough. A truly competitive product has to offer something unique or innovative that sets it apart. The goal isn’t just to solve a problem but to solve it better than anyone else. You need to become the first and only option that comes to a customer’s mind when they have a need.

Finding this balance is an art and a science. It requires listening intently to your first customers. If a hundred people walk into your store or visit your website and no one makes a purchase, something is wrong. Don’t guess what it is. Ask them directly. Talk to your potential customers. Why did they hesitate? What was their objection? Their feedback is the most valuable data you will ever receive. Use it to adjust, iterate, and find that perfect equilibrium between what you offer and what they’re willing to pay

Get productive faster. Analyze the competition, extract key statistics, distinguish between B2B and B2C, and create an AI-powered analysis document (using ChatGPT o1, Perplexity, and search models). Then, iterate with o1 to define MVP features, target users, pricing, and offers, and deliver a refined product draft. This is how you start working on a viable solution.
We must draw a clear line between a fad and a trend. A fad is an intense, short-lived enthusiasm for something. A trend is a fundamental shift or direction of development that has momentum and longevity.
One thing I've learned about #business is to first look at the value a product or service can bring, whether to a niche or a community. That's basically the first step to getting started.
